Color tunable fresnel light
KOSMOS is the compact color-tunable fresnel with built-in ballast, producing unprecedented output due to its V5LED light engine. KOSMOS simplifies color selection and adjustment showing on the touchscreen the actual color you are creating. High color reproduction (96 TLCI) for color skin tones. Smooth stepless dimming and flicker free operation up to 12000 fps. Any base white light from 2500 to 10000K can be set to combine with any color or gel.
Motorized zoom
Change the powerful light beam angle on air from 13 to 56 locally or remotely with no need to access the luminaire. A lightweight low-carbon aluminum body; KOSMOS has a resistant housing made in recycled aluminum which reduces our/your carbon footprint. A real “made to last” lighting fixture 100% manufactured in Barcelona.
True borosilicate fresnel lens
A true borosilicate glass fresnel lens produces a traditional fresnel shading effect and guarantees a consistent color reproduction over the years. The shadow and color light is homogeneous throughout the beam range. The large size of the lens produces a natural, hard wraparound and directional fresnel light with the VELVET touch to create beauty images.
Total control
KOSMOS can be controlled locally, due to a full color touchscreen, or wirelessly. KOSMOS gives immediate remote control on beam angle, color, effects or presets through DMX-RDM, Wi-fi Artnet and Bluetooth. Using the VELVET GOYA App (Android/IOS) gives instant full control. Create, save, load or share your own gels, effects or user profiles, and use the app’s color-picker to recreate colors from a photo or image.
Silent operation
Four fan operation modes. 1. FAN OFF: option available. 2. SILENT: fan operation with low noise priority. 3. FULL SPEED: fan operation with cooling priority. 4. DYNAMIC: fan speed depending on light engine temperature. VELVET electronics and a passive liquid cooling system with a sealed 3D chamber and silent fan keep the LEDs at the optimum temperature and give the diodes a 50,000-hour lifespan.
High efficiency: 100% output even with batteries
VELVET’s industry-leading efficiency, with the best lux-watt on the market, allows for full light output using standard batteries. KOSMOS can be powered with any universal battery V-lock, Gold or B-mount plates available or with AC. No output decrease.
